Operator and acceptance

Calio is developed and operated by Murat Ahmet Kızıl.

By accessing or using Calio, including the Calio integration for ChatGPT, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

Service scope

Calio provides digital tools for meal logging, calorie and macro tracking, recipe discovery, nutrition planning and related wellness features.

Features may differ by platform, country, language, account type or subscription status and may change over time.

Calio for ChatGPT

The current Calio for ChatGPT integration provides anonymous, read-only access to Calio's published public recipe catalog.

It may search recipes, compare available ingredients, rank meal suggestions and return public recipe details.

The current integration does not sign users into a Calio account, read private Calio account information, record meals, modify user data, purchase products or perform transactions on behalf of the user.

A result identified as an exact ingredient match means that the recipe contains all ingredients supplied in the request. The recipe may also require additional ingredients.

If ChatGPT creates an alternative that is not contained in Calio's catalog, it should be identified as an AI-generated alternative outside the Calio catalog.

Nutrition and health information

Calorie, macro and other nutrition values are estimates based on recipe data and serving assumptions. Actual values may vary according to ingredients, brands, portions and preparation methods.

Calio provides general nutrition and wellness information. It does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency assistance, medication advice or personalized medical care.

Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional when medical guidance is required.

User responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • checking ingredients and portion sizes
  • verifying allergens and food intolerances
  • determining whether a recipe is suitable for their dietary, cultural, religious or medical needs
  • using the service lawfully
  • not attempting to disrupt, misuse, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service

Allergy and medical reliance

Calio should not be relied upon as the sole source of information for allergies, medical diets or urgent health decisions.

Accounts and security

Where a Calio account is used, users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity performed through their account.

Users should notify Calio if they believe their account or the service has been accessed without authorization.

Subscriptions and third-party billing

Calio may provide free and paid features.

Where a subscription or purchase is offered through an app store or another sales channel, pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund rules may also be governed by that platform's terms and the information displayed at the time of purchase.

Nothing on this page creates a price, refund or subscription entitlement that is not shown in the applicable purchase flow.

Third-party services

Calio may interact with third-party platforms and infrastructure providers.

ChatGPT and OpenAI are third-party services governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Calio does not claim to be an official OpenAI partner and is not endorsed by OpenAI unless an explicit written statement says otherwise.

Availability and changes

Calio may update, suspend, restrict or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or product development.

The service may occasionally contain errors, incomplete information, delays or interruptions. Continuous or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

Intellectual property

Calio's software, branding, original content and product materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not grant users ownership of Calio's software, trademarks or proprietary content.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Calio is not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on estimated nutrition information, unsuitable ingredient choices, third-party services, interrupted availability or use of the service contrary to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated when Calio's services, integrations or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page.
