Calio is developed and operated by Murat Ahmet Kızıl. This Privacy Policy explains what information Calio may process, why it may be used, and the choices available to users.
The Calio mobile and web applications and the Calio integration for ChatGPT have different data-access capabilities. The sections below explain those differences.
When a user creates or uses a Calio account, Calio may process information needed to provide the service, such as account details, meal records, nutrition goals, preferences, favorites, routine-tracking information and limited technical usage information.
This information may be used to operate features such as meal logging, calorie and macro tracking, recipe discovery, nutrition planning, account security and customer support.
The current Calio for ChatGPT integration is anonymous, read-only and stateless.
It does not require users to sign in with a Calio account and does not access private Calio account data, meal logs, nutrition goals, favorites, billing records or private Firestore collections.
The integration only processes the limited tool arguments that ChatGPT sends when a user requests a Calio function. These may include:
Calio for ChatGPT reads only published recipes from Calio's public recipe catalog.
The integration does not independently retrieve the user's complete ChatGPT conversation history and does not create a Calio user profile from ChatGPT tool requests.

Calio does not use Calio for ChatGPT tool inputs to build advertising profiles, sell personal information or conduct behavioral advertising.
Calio does not intentionally write raw ChatGPT tool arguments or complete request bodies to its application logs.
Limited technical logs may be processed for reliability, security and abuse prevention. These logs may include information such as request method, route, response status, duration and general error category.
Calio for ChatGPT does not intentionally store tool inputs as a user profile or personal recipe-history record.
Messages sent to support@calio.live or privacy@calio.live may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, protect the service or comply with legal obligations.
Infrastructure providers may retain limited technical and security logs according to their own configurations and retention policies.
Calio may use infrastructure, hosting, database, analytics, security or customer-support providers when reasonably necessary to operate the service.
The current Calio for ChatGPT integration uses Google Cloud infrastructure, including Cloud Run and Firestore, to serve the public recipe catalog.
ChatGPT and OpenAI process information under their own terms, privacy policies and user controls. Calio does not control OpenAI's independent processing or retention of ChatGPT conversations.
Users may stop using or disconnect the Calio integration through the controls available in ChatGPT.
ChatGPT conversation deletion, training preferences and other OpenAI account controls are managed by OpenAI.
When Calio does not hold a user profile or identifiable tool-request history, Calio may explain that no corresponding Calio record exists.
Calio uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or uninterrupted.
Calio and its infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the user's country of residence. Appropriate safeguards are used where required by applicable law.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Calio's products, integrations or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page.
